Family Care
At Oak Valley Plaza Dental, we provide comprehensive general dentistry. We encourage long lasting dental health by regular dental checkups every six months. During your checkup we will examine your teeth and overall oral health after your cleaning with one of our hygienist. With regular dental visits, we can prevent common dental problems such as tooth decay or periodontal disease by checking your teeth and gums. Good oral hygiene can also help prevent dental procedures such as fillings, root canals and tooth extractions.

Something to Smile About!
Cosmetic Dentistry

It's important that you are happy with your smile. Once you decide to improve your smile we will discuss the best plan to help you achieve that goal. We have many different techniques to shape, sculpt, and make your smile more beautiful. Treatment may be more affordable than you think!
Tooth Colored Fillings
We use natural-colored materials to restore your teeth that need fillings. Options include composite materials, such as resin, as well as porcelain inlays, onlays and crowns.
Veneers
Vaneers are thin, tooth-colored shells that are bonded, or cemented, to the front of your teeth. They are custom-made of ceramic or composite resin, and look like natural teeth. Vaneers can be used to fill spaces between teeth and to cover teeth that are stained, poorly shaped or crooked.
Enamel Shaping
Our dentists can reshape your teeth by contouring the tooth enamal, the outer layer of the tooth. When teeth are a little crowded or uneven, our dentist can use enamal shaping to improve hour your teeth look.
Crowns
If your tooth needs a more dramtic change, crowns are an option. The outer part of the tooth is removed and a crown is placed over it. The crown can be made to fit in with your other teeth.
Bridges
A bridge is similar to a crown in the material and how its prepared and placed. The main difference from a crown is that a bridge is used to help replace missing teeth. A bridge is usually two crowns that hold on to a “dummy” tooth in the middle. This “dummy” tooth sits right on top of the gums to appear as natural as possible. Often a bridge is an alternative treatment for implants.
Dental Implants

Dental implants are a way to replace missing teeth. People choose implants to replace a single tooth, multiple teeth, or to support a full set of dentures. Implants are placed surgically into the upper or lower jaw bone, and replace the root of missing teeth. Dental implants are made of titanium and other materials that are well accepted by the body.
Single Tooth Implant
The single tooth implant replaces the missing tooth’s root. A single tooth implant is a stand-alone unit and does not involve treating the teeth next to it.
Implant Supported Bridge
A bridge replaces one or more missing teeth. Dental implants may be used to support a bridge when several teeth are missing. The implant-supported bridge replaces the lost natural teeth and some of the tooth roots. This type of bridge does not require support from the teeth around it.
Implant Supported Denture
If you are missing all of your teeth an implant supported denture may be a great option. An implant denture is able to add more comfort and stability, allowing you to bite and chew more naturally.
